THE FRED HOLLOWS FOUNDATION
The Fred Hollows Foundation is an international development organisation working to restore sight to people who are needlessly blind or vision impaired. We work in 25 countries around in the world including in Australia in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities. Right now, there are 1.1 billion people in the world who are blind because they do not have access to basic eye care services. 90% of all vision loss is preventable or treatable. Our work is focused on ensuring no one is left behind and everyone has equal access to affordable eye health care.
OVARIAN CANCER AUSTRALIA
Ovarian Cancer Australia is an independent national not-for-profit organisation, supporting women diagnosed with ovarian cancer. Our focus is to provide care and support for those affected by ovarian cancer; and represent them by leading change. Our vision is to save lives and ensure no woman with ovarian cancer walks alone.
GLOBAL SISTERS
Global Sisters makes business possible for women who are unemployed or in precarious employment. Global Sisters has already supported over 5,500 women across Australia. Each of these women represents a new business, a new job created or a new pathway to employment- and a real difference to Australia women's economic participation and security.
